1992 Dodge ram. It is an extended cab 4 wheel drive. It has a cummins diesel motor and 5
speed manual transmission. It is the LE package and is equipped with power windows, power locks, power mirrors,
AC, cruise control. This truck is a barn find and was parked for 15 years or so. Since i have owned it i have
thoroughly went over this truck front to back top to bottom. It is in exceptional shape inside and out as well as
under the bottom. The truck runs and drives very well. I bought this truck from original owners wife. It was
used strictly to haul a slide in truck camper that was still in it when i bought the truck. Mileage is original
and it is 46, 600. A list of parts that have been replaced but probably isn't everything includes: %100 brake
overhaul, new calipers and pads up front and had original rotors turned, clean and repacked front wheel bearings
while apart. New rear brake shoes, brake hardware, and wheel cylinders. had original drums turned as well. New
parking brake cables too. The motor and cooling system was flushed, and has rotella T oil, with new fleetguard
filter and new fuel filter. Put new alternator and new serpentine belt on as well. Replaced corroded battery
terminal ends and new battery. New windshield wipers. All new shocks and new stainless steel exhaust system from
front to back with muffler. truck is quiet, well as quiet as an old 12 valve can be. New radial tires that have
maybe 3k miles on them now. Painted original rims to match truck while old tires were off. The truck has been
repainted, it was sun faded really bad. There is %100 no rust repair on any of the body panels on this truck. if
you look at the under body pictures you can see it is extremely clean, and rust free. The paint on this truck is
gorgeous. total cost at body shop was almost $4k. Only a couple dents and one noticeable scratch that is
pictured. both rocker panels do have a dent in them. drivers side front and under passenger side rear of cab.
Truck originally came with a rubber mat. I hate rubber mats they hold moisture and rust floors so i trashed that
and put new carpet in as well. Everything on this truck is in working order, with exception of AC. all components
are there, but have never charged. I have charged my newer vehicles with the cans from parts store but assume this
one is original and needs converted yet. The 4 wheel drive does work. I hooked truck to a tree in my yard in the
grass today and put it in 4 lo and eased out the clutch and front tires spin. That is the only time its ever been
locked into 4x4.
Since i took ownership of this truck it has never seen rain or snow. it is my baby. I have a 97 dodge that is my
daily that is used to haul stuff. this is the sunday driver ice cream with kids truck.
